I suggest you ...

Why can't we post photos?

We were just in Dayton, OH and most of the locations had no photos. I could easily add a photo. It would be a cool social extension. When the app finally has professional photos of each place, ours can be subphotos of the location. Of course these would need monitoring of some kind.

Also would be cool if we could add our own photos to the app that only I could see....been there done that kind of thing.

Thank you for your feedback. Ohio is unfortunately a state that has not been scanned by the National Park Service or the National Archives. I will reach out to the SHPO to see if they have these primary source documents so that we can include them for you. We continue to add new sites, so we will have images and content for these sites.
As far as providing your own photos, we have this Planned - as well as considering the idea of having photos that only a select group of people could see (via Facebook). If you send us photos and let us know which site, we will add them and will let you know when you can add them yourself! This is something we are focusing on with Teachers & Students for 2015-2016 school year.
