Would love to see a way to help make corrections and provide feedback to the developer. I have found several small location errors (I.e., pin across the street from actual location), and some map changes that Google might not yet have. (Gough Ave. in Lafayette, CO is really Couch Ave. Long story.)1 vote
We are in the process of developing a web-based mapping interface that will provide a deeper level of interaction with respect to user feedback and corrections. For now, we have a link in our footer
-which really just points you to our discussion forum to file an incident. With a little more detail on your issue, our support staff can probably make the correction. Thank you!
We were just in Dayton, OH and most of the locations had no photos. I could easily add a photo. It would be a cool social extension. When the app finally has professional photos of each place, ours can be subphotos of the location. Of course these would need monitoring of some kind.
Also would be cool if we could add our own photos to the app that only I could see....been there done that kind of thing.2 votes
Thank you for your feedback. Ohio is unfortunately a state that has not been scanned by the National Park Service or the National Archives. I will reach out to the SHPO to see if they have these primary source documents so that we can include them for you. We continue to add new sites, so we will have images and content for these sites.
As far as providing your own photos, we have this Planned
-as well as considering the idea of having photos that only a select group of people could see (via Facebook). If you send us photos and let us know which site, we will add them and will let you know when you can add them yourself! This is something we are focusing on with Teachers & Students for 2015-2016 school year.
Add a layer for NPS units. Not sure if the app would support line data for unit boundaries as well as a point for info. Might cause some problems where parks are also NHLs and NNLs...but with the centennial coming next year and the popularity of people logging their visits in the physical stamp book, this could be a popular layer!2 votes
Maybe this is just me (using the latest IOS on an iPhone 5S) but the star to favorite someplace isn't there! There's a toggle to the map feature, which I find really useful and think should stay...but now I can't find a place to add anything to the favorites list. What about adding just the star icon to the "I've been here/I want to go here" bar in the location info?1 vote
Provide a way to view example Tags. Ideally, completion would be nice!1 vote
Not sure of the easiest way to achieve this, but evaluating.
History colorado has many state and national register sites via google earth2 votes
In progress activity as they are made available by History Colorado. Adding 163 local Boulder City sites!
Elevation is an important element of location and is not currently included in the app. We're going to go ahead and add that!5 votes
Looking for a Digital Elevation Map that takes lat, lon as input and returns altitude.

Maintain the layer icon and/or label when viewing the details of a Spot so user knows source eg World Heritage Site vs Nat Historical Landmark. Especially when multiple layers enabled.1 vote
